How Do YOU Benefit?
Our success rate is impressive for both the small shipper and the extremely large shipper who spend thousands of dollars daily on shipping. We actually become a shipping department on your behalf, which means less time spent on shipping issues. Your company becomes more competitive because we reduce costs. Sales personell love the technology we provide which allow immediate rate quotes for product being sold and shipped.
What Services Do We Provide?
Complete supply chain management from origin to destination. Logistical consultation with rate and rules tariff negotiations. Truckload services are on a per quote basis with a small brokerage fee built into the quote. If you have set shipping lanes we're able to negotiated set prices.
What Discount Levels can I expect?
FedEx Air, Express, and Ground shipping is tied directly into our discount. FedEx will use your account number, with our rates, and bill you directly. FedEx Air and Express is discounted up to 50% and Ground is discounted up to 26%.
LTL discounts will vary based on your shipping levels.
Rate Quotes?
We can be called directly or we can load our rate program on your computer so you can generate your own rate quotes.
Who Do We Pay?
Through our networked carriers and volume pricing the freight carriers will bill Frontier Logistics for all services rendered. We receive the data from the carriers, usually in an EDI transfer. The carriers love our automated process because it reduces paper and labor to handle our account and the savings is then passed to you. When the bill has been audited (which we find to be incorrectly rated around 6 % of the time in the carriers favor) we will send your company the bill, which is to be paid to Frontier Logistics.
Who Settles Claims?
When a claim arises with the carrier we will assist in the claim settlement. With our volume and in-depth knowledge of the freight industry we are very successful in claim resolution.
Getting Started
In order to get started with Frontier Logistics contact us with a request for our FREE OFFER freight evaluation. We will look at what type of shipping you are currently doing and evaluate the lanes and shipping class of the commodities being handled. Once we have a history and know if we can save you money we will have you sign a contract which allows us to represent your company and negotiate on your behalf with simple cancellation terms. A credit application is required. The rate request will be submitted to the carriers. We will then provide the proposed rates and our recommendation. If your company agrees with the negotiated rate we will then start shipping on your behalf and assisting in your needs. FedEx Air, Express, and Ground simply uses your current FedEx account or sets you up with a new account tied into our pricing.
What Is My Level of Commitment?
If Frontier Logistics isn’t able to save you money and provide a valued service then there are no consulting fees or long-term commitments. Once the shipping process begins and if you desire you may cancel very easily. Our service is based on saving money, time, and allowing your operation the freedom to become more efficient!
How Do We Ship?
Based on your shipping needs and infrastructure there are a couple options. Volume shippers continue to ship the way they are by generating their own bill of lading. The bill of lading identifies the shipper and who the freight is billed to. For small or infrequent shippers Frontier Logistics can generate the bill of lading and fax or e-mail the bill of lading to the location where the shipment will be loaded. We will also contact the carrier to inform them of the pickup. We provide a rate disk, which is loaded onto your computer, so you can easily check and provide your own rate quotes. For truckload, flatbed, or bulk containers we will secure a carrier and generate the bill of lading and fax or e-mail it to the loading location. Each location is required to generate their own shipping labels to be placed on the product being shipped.
